The meaning of 'FIRDAUS'...

Firdaus or فردوس (Arabic) is an Arabic name derived from the word firdaws, the word for the highest paradise that can be attained in afterlife. The word firdaws is borrowed from Middle Persian and is related to the word paradise, which is derived from the Avestan form pairidaēza.
The name is used throughout the
Muslim World. It is usually used as a male name, but it can also be used as a female name.
The name of the
Persian poet and historian Firdausi and the name of the Iranian city of Ferdows or Ferdos come from the same word
